What are Backprinted Stickers?
Backprinted Stickers feature a unique option of backprinting (also called liner printing or back liner printing) which allows you to add custom artwork, text, or messaging to the back liner of your sticker. This is different from the sticker face, giving you more space for promotions, instructions, or fun extras without impacting your main design.
What stickers support backprinting?
Printed on white BOPP (polypropylene), this material is durable, water- and oil-resistant, and finished with a protective UV laminate.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Our minimum order quantity for Backprinted Stickers is 250 per design.
What is the turnaround time?
Backprinting has a longer turn time of 7-10 business days from proof approval, to account for the extra time needed in production to complete.
Can I rush my Backprinted Stickers?
No - Due to the additional time needed in production on backprinting, we are unable to offer it with our rush service.
How do I set up artwork for backprinting?
Ideally, submit a two-page PDF (front + back). If you upload only one file, Customer Service will follow up to confirm which design is which. Check out this resource for a walkthrough on setting up your artwork best for backprinting!
Are there size limitations?
Yes - Our minimum size for a backprinted item is 2" x 2". We can print up to 11" x 14".
All backprinted items must have a standard safety margin of 1/8" for the back liner image. Narrow insets of 1/16" are still allowable for the front sticker image. Full bleed is allowed for both the front sticker and the back liner if included in the art file. Learn more about Bleed here.
How many colors can I use?
Backprinting allows for full color printing, just like the front of your stickers! There are no limitations to how many colors you can use, only that it will print in CMYK.
Can I write on my Backprinted Stickers?
Yes! The backing of your Backprinted Stickers can be written on with a felt-tipped marker. If you need to write on the sticker itself, check out this resource for the best products to write on.
Do Backprinted Stickers come with split backing?
No. Backprinted Stickers will be finished with a non-score back to ensure the best quality. If you would like an easy peel option, request a pull tab or carrier sheet be added to your design. Learn more here.
Can I choose the orientation of the sticker?
No - Our team will set up the artwork to default so the top of the front and back aligns—meaning your sticker will flip left to right like a book. We are unable to offer customization of this feature at this time.
How can I use Backprinted Stickers?
