The Pantone Matching System (PMS) is a standardized color system that allows certain printers and manufacturers all over the world to have a matching guide. Pantone colors are each assigned an individual number and name, which designers and printers in different locations can use to easily identify the same exact color. An example of a Pantone color would be Coca-Cola red or Tiffany blue.
Pantone colors are typically used in a printing process called "spot" printing. This is when the exact color is mixed together before the printing begins, to then be laid down as a single color to your design.
Unfortunately, StickerGiant is not able to print PMS inks or exactly match PMS (Pantone) ink colors, as we are not a spot printer. We print all products using CMYK inks. When set up properly within your artwork, the equivalent CMYK values could be a very close representation of the PMS ink selection. Our team would be happy to review your artwork to ensure it's ready for printing in CMYK.
If you have a specific Pantone color you need to be matched, please build your file with the CMYK conversion of that color. Here is a handy tool to help!
