When you place a new sticker or label order with StickerGiant, you'll receive a digital proof before anything goes to print. Most proofs are sent within 1–2 business days after your order and artwork are submitted. Your proof gives you the opportunity to review the final layout, size, cut line, and artwork details before production begins.
How Long Does It Take to Receive a Proof?
After you place your order and upload your artwork, our Graphic Production Artists review your file and prepare a digital proof.
Most customers receive their proof within 1–2 business days.
Your proof will show:
- Final dimensions
- Cut line placement
- Bleed and safe areas
- Artwork positioning
- Material selection
- Specialty material effects, when applicable
- Any production notes from our Art Team
You'll receive an email notification when your proof is ready. You can also review your proof through the Order Status page or My Orders section of your account.
What Can Delay a Proof?
Most proofs are created quickly, but certain artwork issues may require additional review or communication before a proof can be completed.
Common causes of proof delays include:
- Low-resolution artwork
- Missing fonts
- Files not built in the correct proportions
- Missing bleed or safe areas
- Unclear cut line instructions
- Specialty material artwork that requires white ink setup
- Multiple artwork files were submitted for a single item
- Files that need significant adjustments before production
To help avoid delays, ensure that your artwork is print-ready by:
- Upload artwork at 300 DPI or higher.
- Use CMYK color mode whenever possible.
- Outline fonts before submitting.
- Include bleed when artwork extends to the edge.
- Upload one artwork file per item ordered.
Our Art Team reviews every file and will contact you if additional information is needed before proofing can continue.
What Happens After Proof Approval?
Once you approve your proof, your order moves directly into production.
Because production starts right away, approved orders cannot be changed or canceled.
Production time depends on the product and service selected at checkout. Our standard production turnaround time is 3-5 business days, while some specialty products such at Backprinted Stickers and Glow-In-The-Dark may require additional production time.
After production is complete, your order ships using the shipping method selected during checkout.

Do Reorders Require Proof Approval?
Usually, no.
When you reorder a previously approved design, the order typically skips the proofing stage and moves directly into production. Since you've already approved the artwork, no additional action is usually required.
In some situations, a reorder may require a new proof. If that happens, you'll receive an email notification and can review the proof through your account before production begins.
